Originally our shop was opened by Andy & Thegkla, who quickly became a part of the local community. They then passed the shop on to their nephew, and owner until today, George. We were, and still remain, a true local & family business.

What makes us different? We leave no stone unturned to consistently deliver quality fresh food to your table. When we say fresh we mean it - our fish is never frozen, in fact it's delivered to us daily from Scotland just hours after being caught.

No point in having fresh fish if you don't cook it properly. We only fry using the finest oils which are healthier and deliver a better taste. Potato's and other fresh produce are locally sourced wherever possible so we can guarantee the quality.

All of this is backed by a team which pride themselves on cleanliness, service and ensuring you enjoy your food time after time. We can be very busy at times but we always try our best to make Barberry Fish Bar a welcoming & friendly place to visit.
